Boards and Committees play a vital role in providing advice and recommendations to Council. Most committees consist of community members alongside Council representatives, with support from Township staff.

Volunteering on a board or committee is a fantastic opportunity to:

Connect with new people and share your ideas and talents
Contribute to the strategic direction of the Township
Make a meaningful impact in your community

Please note, in addition to any qualification requirements established by Council resolution or the Board/Committee Terms of Reference, individuals appointed to a Board or Committee must provide the Township Clerk with a valid Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check* within 60 days of appointment.

*Charges are not typically applied for volunteer positions, but the Township will reimburse any costs incurred.
